My initial idea for my Contemporary Sally was to create her as a drag queen. Although I moved away from this idea, I have posted my face chart idea and some experimentation I did of the look. Looking back at the photos, I think the look, particularly the eye makeup, just looked like a pretty basic "night out" look. One thing I did like about this look however, was the lips. The lipstick I tried ("Toying Around" by MAC), was the perfect texture, finish and colour for creating the glossy, plastic looking , Amanda Lepore-esque lips I really wanted for my character.
I tried a second pink lipstick, but it just did not have the same effect or look as dramatic.
