Introduction to Club Culture

The second half of our project is Club Culture. This is centred around the party scene in London and New York during the 80's. I'm excited to explore how this develops from the party scene of Weimar Berlin. I saw the film Party Monster years ago and absolutely loved it and I remember doing some research into Michael Alig and James St James after watching the film. I'm excited to re-watch the film from a makeup artists perspective and to look further into club culture and the Blitz Kids, who I had not heard of before.
